Simone N. Whiteside is the co-founder and Interim CEO of MaryAnn Riley Adult Day Care Corporation, a Licensed Insurance Agent and published author deeply committed to faith-based community care for seniors. She holds multiple certifications, including Emergency Response Measures, Introduction to Dementia Care, An Overview of Mental Illness Care, and is also certified as a General Construction Manager.
Her educational background includes studies at Long Island University and Greenville Technical College, where she earned certificates in Project Management and Human Resource Generalist training. Simone’s extensive management experience spans over 15 years in retail operations, construction project oversight, and senior care coordination. She is the author of several publications, including Securing the Future: Comprehensive Insurance Handbook for African American Families.
Simone plays a key role in shaping MARADC’s participant-centered policies, staff development, and compliance with SC Regulation 61-75, ensuring dignity, safety, and enrichment for every participant..
John W. Bryant is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Licensed Insurance Agent (Accident and Health), and retired U.S. Army Major with extensive leadership, community development, and veteran advocacy experience. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and has completed AXIS Communications Certification in addition to CPR, AED, and First Aid training.
As founder of Reinvest Carolina, he focuses on expanding senior housing and care services across South Carolina. Mr. Bryant's background in federal systems oversight and nonprofit leadership brings invaluable expertise in operational planning, compliance, and technology integration to MARADC. His co-authorship of Creative Compliance underscores his dedication to advancing holistic elder care through both regulatory excellence and community engagement.
Dyanne W. Lyles is a pioneering educator, arts program developer, and community health advocate with over 40 years of experience in teaching, adult program administration, and creative therapeutic services. She serves as the appointed Administrator for the MaryAnn Riley Adult Day Care Corporation, a proposed state-licensed facility in Spartanburg, SC.
Ms. Lyles holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from Claflin University. She meets the Administrator qualifications under SC Regulation 61-75, Section 502, bringing decades of experience in elder care, art instruction, and regulatory compliance. She is the lead author of Creative Compliance, a guide that integrates therapeutic arts with compliance standards. Ms. Lyles also serves as Executive Director of Active Expressions Art Academy.
Her credentials include certifications in Art Therapy, CPR/First Aid, Infection Control, and Dementia Care Training, positioning her as a compassionate and compliance-driven leader in adult day care.
Blanca E. Padilla serves as Assistant Administrator for the MaryAnn Riley Adult Day Care Corporation, supporting all aspects of facility operations, staff supervision, emergency preparedness, and participant care planning. With more than 15 years of experience spanning health care, administrative management, food service compliance, and elder care, Ms. Padilla brings operational strength and hands-on compassion to the leadership team.
Blanca currently assists with implementation of regulatory standards outlined in SC Regulation 61-75, including infection control, staff orientation, participant supervision, and health monitoring. Her leadership in participant services ensures that all care aligns with each Individual Plan of Care (IPC), while also supporting the facility's emergency preparedness, documentation, and service quality.
Her experience includes roles in home caregiving with Caring Hearts In Home Care, institutional food preparation with the Pickens County School District, and administrative operations with medical and nonprofit organizations. As General Manager of Cutrite Landscaping LLC, she oversees budgets, HR procedures, and performance audits, bringing valuable organizational and compliance knowledge to her work at MARADC.
As Assistant Administrator, Blanca supports onboarding, day-to-day staff coordination, and compliance documentation—ensuring the facility is prepared to meet all inspection, reporting, and service requirements as outlined in SC Regulation 61-75 Sections 502–506. Her ability to balance operational detail with direct care awareness makes her a trusted liaison between administration, staff, and families.
